Flash Ads Disabled with New IE Update?

According to PC Magazine, programs that use ActiveX controls (such as Acrobat Reader, Flash, QuickTime, etc.) won't work with the latest patch for IE. Can any viners shed light on this?

- It could make one wonder if seemingly ill-thought out UI/UX changes such as News Feed and the privacy issue around Beacon are not actually cunning PR stunts designed to curry outrage and column inches. And then FB listens to it's users and changes the feature, resulting in even more coverage.

- Do it… but wait until the next round of MBs and MBPs is launched. There are significant issues with the first generation (excessive heat being a big on). I'm on my third. Oh yeah… definitely get the AppleCare plan too. It's a life saver.
